In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the leading cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Egypt showcased some interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced varying patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

MEXC: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 13.4K at the beginning of July and dropping to around 3.5K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, peaking at about 24K mid-quarter before ending at roughly 21.7K.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto exhibited a steady pattern in weekly downloads, with figures ranging from 8.7K to 10.3K. The app also sustained a high level of user engagement, with weekly active users fluctuating between 340K and 395K throughout the quarter.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, reaching a peak of about 5.6K in mid-September. The app's weekly active users showed a consistent pattern, averaging around 71K, with minor fluctuations during the quarter.

Sweat - Wallet that pays maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 3.5K to 5.4K. However, the app's weekly active users saw a decline, dropping from about 61K at the start of the quarter to approximately 45.6K by the end.

OKX: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto also showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 3.2K and decreasing to 2.3K by the quarter's close. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 83K.
